He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Monroe Draper and Lela Blakeney Draper; his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Calvin Draper, Don Draper, Mildred Sims and Ida Wingfield.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wendell, Danny Draper and Wanda Dunn; his children, Dean Dwayne Draper Sr., Lisa Garcia and Stacey Benavidez; and his son-in-law James Benavidez. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
