He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell McCurry and Velma Dotson McCurry; his wife Leota King McCurry; and his siblings, Robert McCurry, Wayne McCurry, Amil McCurry, Wayman McCurry and Thelma McCurry.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gene McCurry (Donna Gail) of Mesquite and Sandra Gail McCurry of Lone Oak; his grandchildren, Colton McCurry (Keri), Megan Cook (Tyler) and Hannah Lorton; and his great grandchildren, Jordan McCurry, Noah McCurry and Colt McCurry, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Lone Oak Methodist Church.
