He is survived by: his wife Betty Kay Gary; his children, John Paul Cannon (Kelly), Melissa Fields Cannon, Doug Cannon Jr. (Amanda), Jamie Cannon and Joey Matlock (Christine); his brother Dale Chappell; his grandchildren, Wade Cannon (Christina), Jessica Cannon, Zachary Cannon, Kayla Fields, Taylor Horton, Hayley Cannon, Trevor Cannon, Aleesa Matlock and Emily Cannon; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Jackson Cannon, Aris Valdez, Sophia Horton and Rolyn Franklin.
