With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Umsted in Mesquite, Texas, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joretta Tarbell; her former husband Russel Castleberry; her husband James E. Umsted Jr.; her stepfather Lester Lee; her father Herbert A. Strickland; her stepmother Faye Strickland; and her brother Rick K. Strickland.
She is survived by: her son Christoper Wayne Castleberry (Paula); her grandchildren, Christian Wayne Castleberry and Paige Marie Castleberry; her great grandchild Addison Grace Castleberry; and her brother Cary J. Strickland (Beverly). She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
