He is survived by: his wife Idalia Montalvo; his children, Teresa Armer (Gary) of Baytown, Edward Montalvo of Taylor and David Montalvo of Stafford, Texas; his granddaughter Myrsine Howard (Chad); his great grandchildren, Blake Edwards, Alyssa Edwards and Austin Howard of Needville, Texas; his granddaughter Amanda Montalvo (Sammy DeLuna); his great grandchildren, Izaiyuh Nava, Aubrey DeLuna and Mariah Trejo of Houston; his stepgranddaughter Krystal Gonzalez; and his son Nicholas Gonzalez of Houston.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made in Alfredo's honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
