He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Griffith and Cornelia Griffith; his sister Sally Matthews; and his grandson Matthew Rooney. He is survived by: his wife Kay McDonnell; his children, Pete Griffith (Diana), Lauren Rooney (Steve), Roger Griffith, Kristen Barnes (John) and Molly Blackney (David); and his sister Suzanne Knorr (Georgia) of Cumming. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as many extended family.
