It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Jerman Bird of McKinney, Texas, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Larry" LaRue Jerman and Catherine Louise Alta Jerman (Strobel); and her sister Bettigene Jerman Smith. She is survived by: her husband John Bird of McKinney, Texas; her children, Kathleen Bird (Sonny Jeanes), Janet Walker (Ken), John "Chip" Bird, Jr. (Sherry), Michael Bird (Becky) and Nancy Harty (Don); and her brother John "Jay" LaRue Jerman, II (Carol). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
