With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eduardo Carlos Vela of McAllen, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evangeline D. Vela. He is survived by: his father Eduardo C. Vela; his stepmother Esther Vela; his siblings, Evangelina Vela (Anna Espinoza) and Gilbert Vela; his nephews, Michael Espinoza and David Espinoza (Arlene Arakelian); his niece Stephanie Villamor (Jayson); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ed's, Velito and Vicente Villamor.
Ed's passion was seeing that no one went hungry, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ed's favorite charity, World Central Kitchen, in his memory.
