It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roman Velez Sr. (Mason, Texas), who passed away on June 13, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his child Roman Velez Jr.; his wife Phyliss of Christoval; his brothers, Louis Velez Jr of Kyle, San Antonio of Kyle and Paul Velez of Kyle; and also, Hilda Gierisch (Terry) of Mason, Valentin Velez (Letty) of Mason, Enrique Velez (Deanna) of San Diego, Melissa Velez of San Angelo, Zelma Martinez (Abel) of Mason and Beatrice Zepeda (Miguel) of Georgetown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
