Emmit Egon is survived by: wife Georgie Schmidt of Mason; and children, Deborah Keiter of Lubbock and Emmit "Butch" Schmidt Jr. of Seguin. Emmit Egon is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
