She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Mamie Virginia Lancaster (Westfield); her spouse Charles Kennith Whatley; her brothers, Ben Lancaster of Eastland and Robert; her sisters-in-law, Ethelyn and Loy Ray; and her nephew Mansel.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Jerry Foley (Pat) and Sybil Phelps of Marshall; and her cousin Marvin Davenport of Panola County. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who adored their cherished aunt.
