She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie Mae Stephens, Winnie Mae Stephens Banks, Obie Jean Stephens Giddings, Albert James Stephens and Jeff Stephens.
She is survived by: her husband Hearts Way; her daughter Linda Sue Stephens Jones; her grandchildren, Navy Lieutenant Chaplain Reginald and Josie Tucker Jones Aghaji (Tony); and her siblings, Una Grace Pittman of Forney, TX, Milton Stephens and Hertice Stephens of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Josiephine led a strong and independent life until two diseases (Bi-polar Disorder and Alzheimer), severely attacked her brain which led to the affliction of her body, for the last 10 plus years of her life.
