He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Roberts and Lola Mae Harrison Roberts; and his brother David Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Roberts of Marshall, Texas; his children, James Wesley Roberts of Marshall, Texas and Leslie JoAnn McCrary (Jamie) of Marshall, Texas; his grandchildren, Jay Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Emily Roberts, James McCrary and Jarrett McCrary (Heather); his great grandchildren, Noah Kyle Roberts, Kalob Kyle Roberts, Adam Kyle Roberts, Joel Wesley Roberts, Westen David Roberts, Jude Cohen McCrary and Jayton Ash McCrary; and his siblings, Howard Roberts (Vonda), Melba Woods, Margaret Newman, Barbara Riley (Marshall), Christine Roberts, Susan Cunningham and Beth Spence (Marvin).
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations be made to Hospice of East Texas.
