He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lake Heaton and Frances Murphy Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Reggie Beaty Heaton; his children, Jason (Shayla) and Julie (Cory); his grandchildren, Josie Brock, Trinity Heaton, Major Burnett and Sarah Collins; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Beaty (Jolene Beaty) and Gayle Keller (Auvil).
