It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Frias of Marfa, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrado "Sarge" DeAnda and Maria DeAnda; her husband Pedro Frias; and her brother Orlando Contreras. She is survived by: her daughters, Ida Martinez (Fred) of Artesia, Rita Sanchez (Johnny) of Marfa and Ina Razo of Alpine, Texas; her sister Maria DeAnda of El Paso, Texas; her niece Bella Farley of El Paso, Texas; her stepchildren, Carol Sue Gonzales (Victor), Pete Frias, Jr. (Terry) of El Paso, Texas, Robert Frias (Veronica) of El Paso, Texas and Mike Frias of El Paso, Texas; and her grandchildren, Adriana Sanchez of McKinney, Daniel Martinez of San Antonio, Victor Gonzalez, Jr. of El Paso, Anna Monique Gonzalez of El Paso, Elaine Frias of El Paso, Samuel Frias of El Paso, Adam Frias of El Paso, Robert John Frias of El Paso, Amanda Frias of El Paso, Nick Frias of El Paso and Mike Christopher Frias of Dallas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
