He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julius Joseph "Chubby" and Ruby "Jean" Petrash; his wife Julie Ann Petrash; his daughters, Audrey Erin Petrash and Morgan Ashlyn (Oliver O'neal Lewis); his brother Julius Roy "Jay" Petrash (Donna); his nieces, Jessica Grimes (Charlie) and Katie Krenek (Kyle); and his great-nieces, Emilee Korth, Avery Grimes and Lexi Krenek. He was also cherished by numerous cousins and friends.
