With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Dean Jones of Lufkin, Texas, born in Ralls, Texas, who passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jones and Maynard Jones (Butler); and his siblings, Grace Brookshire, Carla St. Pierre, Frances Walsh and Buddy Jones (L. C. Jones).
He is survived by: his wife Faye Jones of Lufkin; his daughter Donna; his son-in-law A. W. Wright of Lufkin; his grandsons, Todd (Kristen Wright) of Tyler and Josh King of Lufkin; and his siblings, Betty Ellis of Duncan, OK and Jerry Jones of Emory, TX.. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
