She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Legate and Willie Legate. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Butler; her daughters, Brenda Walsworth, Shannon Thompson and Stacy Butler; her brother Glenn Legate; and her grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Allison Crawford, Margaret Pitney (Maggie) and Patrick Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Family Funeral (2112 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
