She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Hernandez and Josefina Hernandez (Macias); her husband Dionicio DeLeon; her son Jesse DeLeon; her siblings, Pablo Hernandez, Marcelino Hernandez, Mike Hernandez, Eufemia Melendez and Janie Yniguez; her granddaughters, Janice DeLeon and Anna Marie Mendez; and her great grandchild Rudy Romo.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Prieto of Lubbock, Joe DeLeon (Edelmira) of Lubbock, Mary Guitron of Navasota, Janie Gonzales of San Antonio, Cruz DeLeon of Lubbock, Rachel DeLeon of Lubbock, George DeLeon (Susan) of Corpus Christi, Lupe Orta (Manuel) of Montgomery, Josie Orta (George) of Lubbock, Janice DeLeon of Lubbock and James DeLeon of Lubbock; and her sisters, Mary Garza of Nyssa and Beatrice Martinez (Bart, Sr.) of Windsor, Colorado. She is also survived by 44 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
