He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Lira, Sr. and Lucia Lira (Hernandez); and his brother John Robert Lira. He is survived by: his sons, Travis of Slaton, Jacob of Lubbock and Jonathan of Lubbock; his siblings, Tommy of Lubbock, Esmeralda Flores of Lubbock, Rosie Lira of Lubbock, Nancy Grunstad of Lubbock, Linda Sosa of Lubbock and Ernestine Alonzo of Irvine, California; and his former wife Gloria Lira.
