He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Arthur Davis and Allie Imogene Janette Davis (Sparks); his sister Jo Ann Gillespie; his in-laws, Delmar and Marie Duncan; his siblings-in-law, Patsy Hoermann, Bubba Hoermann and Darla Jones; and his nephew Dyke Culp.
He is survived by: his wife Delmarie Davis of Lubbock, Texas; his sons, Bryan Davis (Tawni) of Lubbock, Texas, Brad Davis (Jamie) of Lubbock, Texas and Brent Davis (Toni) of Portland, Texas.; his brothers, Frank Davis (Kay) of Peoria, Illinois and Richard Davis (Gloria) of Groesbeck, Texas; his sister-in-law Debby Ketchersid (Jimmy) of Lubbock, Texas.; his grandchildren, Brady Davis (Leslie) of Lubbock, Texas, Marissa Clark (Cody) of Franklin, Tennessee, Davis (Ginger) of Lubbock, Texas, Clay Davis of State College, Pennsylvania, Rachel Davis of Lubbock, Texas, Richard Davis of Karnes City, Texas, Rileigh Davis of San Marcos, Texas and Allie Davis of San Marcos; and his great grandchildren, Logan Clayton, Lillian Davis, Hannah Clark, Coleson Clark and Carter Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the West Texas Legends Scholarship or your charity of choice. The West Texas Legends Scholarship is named in honor of Bobby Davis and is funded by the Texas Tech Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
