He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Guillermo Hernandez and Pete Hernandez.

He is survived by: his spouse Elba; his children, Steven Hernandez (Linda) and Patricia Hernandez; and his siblings, Tereso Hernandez (Cathy), Lupe Hernandez, Margaret Apaez, Estella Arteaga (Manuel), Andres Hernandez (Dora) and Steve Hernandez (Terry).
