She was predeceased by: her grandmother Beulah Delois Burns Thomas; her parents, Charlie Williams Burns, Sr. and Izora Coleman Burns; her daughters, Beulah Jane Henry and Estella Joyce Halton; and her siblings, Lucillius Burns, Charlie Burns, Sr., Virtia Mae Burns, Izora Lee Crain, Charlsie Burns Watkins, Betty Ray Burns Crosby and Henrietta Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Thomas; her children, Gloria Washington, Ginger Herd (James), Vanessa Thomas, Mary Bryant, Phillip Burns, Sr., Wilburn C. Thomas and Edward C. Thomas (Marilyn); her siblings, Evelyn Grace Burns Daniels and MacArthur Burns; and her siblings-in-law, Betsy Russell, Gloria Dean Burns, Sally Mae Thomas and Robert Thomas. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 45 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (2001 S Green St, Longview, TX 75602). A wake will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Rollins Addition Church of Christ (3425 Morrison St, Longview, TX 75602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Cotton St. Church of Christ (2015 E Cotton St, Longview, TX 75602).
