It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaye Slemmons of Lone Oak, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Smart and Molly Smart; her husband Kenneth "Big Daddy" Slemmons; her son Mike Slemmons; and her great grandchild Nathan Slemmons.
She is survived by: her children, James Joseph Slemmons of Kaufman and Sherry Alesa Colburn of Lone Oak; and her grandchildren, Jimmie Slemmons, Charlie Wallace, Mike Slemmons, Christi Kilgore, Jeramy Slemmons, Sherry Gibson, Kasey Culley, Lacy Astorga, Shank Payne, Jake Otts, Amber Slemmons and Roper Huddleston. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
