He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ashmore and Ruth Ashmore; his wife Carolyn Burkhalter Ashmore; his daughters, Jessica Ashmore Siciliano (Pete) and Susan McDorman (Jeff); his siblings, Jamile Ashmore (Barbara) and Ruth Ann Zelazny (Hal); his nephews, Dr. Jay Ashmore Jr. (Kimberly) and Alex Geldon (Whitney); his niece Belinda Ashmore; his grandchildren, Carmela Siciliano, D'Anna Siciliano (Chris), Dante Siciliano, Gaston McDorman (Summer), Drew McDorman (Whitney) and Brock McDorman (Storie); and his great grandchildren, Cylas Siciliano, Olivia and Rhyan McDorman. He was also cherished by many friends and family members.
