With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwayne Slankster Sr. of Lone Oak, Texas, born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Arthur Slankster and Elizabeth Mary Lecluyse Slankster; his former wife Debra Slankster; and his siblings, Nancy Reinart, Arthur Slankster and Roy Slankster.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Slankster of Lone Oak; his children, Dwayne Dean Slankster, Jr. (Marinda) of Balch Springs, Tammy Marie Mercier-Marchant of Dimondale, Rebecca Ann Granado (Oscar) of Quinlan, Kimberly Lynn McDermott (Joshua) of Mount Morris and Michelle Deanne Fallen (Josh) of Waxahachie; and his sister Jean Groulx (Julian) of New Haven. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
