She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Sanchez and Juanita Mendoza Sanchez; and her brothers, Estanislado Sanchez, Jose Sanchez and Ramon Sanchez.

She is survived by: her husband Natividad Herrera; her children, Gerald Herrera (Geisla), David Herrera (Virginia), Nicholas Herrera (Silvia) and Gerismisa Avalos (Michael); her grandchildren, Matilda Herrera (Jon), Bonnie Jerry Herrera, Nicole Herrera and Jose Vicente Herrera (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Avalin Nicole Uker, Adon Michael Uker, Archer Kai Uker, Yesennia Isabella Herrera, Gabriella Marie Herrera, Jeremiah Nicholas Herrera, Anastasia Lalani Herrera and Domenic Anderson; and her siblings, Lucia Sanchez Samaro and Florentino Sanchez.
