We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020, at the age of 95, Helen Schmidt (Lockhart, Texas), born in Maxwell, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John August and Henrietta Wink Siemering; her husband Rabbit Schmidt; her daughter Janet; her grandson Junior Schmidli; her father-in-law Robert; her siblings, Johnny (Dale), Robert Siemering (Lillian) and Doris Colgin (Tommy); and her siblings-in-law, Joe (Eleanor), Nonnie Schmidt (Ann), Vera Schuenemann (Hilbert) and Meta Scott (Robert).
She is survived by: her friend Las Vegas; her children, Jimmy (late Brenda), Bobby (Sue Wilhite) and Geraldine (Corkey Hass); her grandchildren, Shane Schmidt (Melissa), Shelley Nelson (Mike), Chris Spurgeon, Sonny Schmidt (Wendy), Emily Kimbrell (late James), Bud Boehnke (Cristie), Jamie Schmidt (Lisa), Joey Schmidli (Amanda) and Tommy Schmidt (Ashley); and her friends, Becky Beck, David Lopez and Nathan Morris.
Visitation will be held at the Creedmoor Community Center on Saturday December 12, 2020 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (please wear masks and observe social distancing) and graveside services Sunday beginning at 12:00 noon at the Lockhart City Cemetery.
