She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Lloyd and Wilma Frances Reese (Clark); her sister Ruth Ann Hickok (Don) of Ulysses, Kansas; her children, Sonja Roberts of Llano, Texas, Richard Atkinson (Lisa) of Tucson, Arizona, Chuck Atkinson of Logan, Kansas, Craig Atkinson (Deborah) of San Marcos, California and Tony Atkinson of Bend, Oregon; her stepdaughter Marsha Young (Rod) of Pensacola, Florida; her former husband Clyde E. Atkinson; and her husband William D. Bush. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
