She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Shurbet; her sons, Charles Dean Shurbet and Stephen Shurbet; her great grandchild Stephanie Nicole Ceynowa; and her brother Carl Sanders.
She is survived by: her parents, Arthur Guy Sanders and Atlas Jewel (Thompson); her children, Rickey Carl Shurbet (Beverly) of Texarkana, Texas and Susan Ann Ceynowa (Mike Ceynowa); and her siblings, James Sanders (Jean) of Maud, Tappy Sanders (Glenda) of Longview, Texas, Bonnie Jean Schales, Gracie Nell Smith (Boyd Sr.) of Hooks and Margie Dee Silva (Tony) of Riverside. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren plus one on her way, and 2 great great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
