He was predeceased by: his son James Andrew Glenn; his parents, Edna Rebecca and Melvin Sr; and his siblings, Edna Grace, James Glenn and Benny Glenn.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Davis (George Brownlee) of Lampasas, Melvin Glenn III of Kingsland and Clyde Glenn of Lampasas; and his brother Gene Glenn (Mary) of Kingsland. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews aunts and uncles.
