He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Mills Duncan, Jr. and Woodie Louise Marshall; and his siblings, Herschel Mills Duncan III and Debi Duncan Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fopay-Duncan; his brother Rodney Duncan, Sr.; his children, Miriam Louise Duncan, Nicole Johnson, Vallone Andrea Lindsey Moore and Kent Marshall Duncan, Jr.; his stepchildren, Becky Reed and Donald Powell; and his great grandchild Elliana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
