He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Mae Underwood (Stockbridge) and Webster Underwood; his wife Zeola Underwood; and his son Jim Kirk Underwood. He is survived by: his children, Darrel Underwood (Shanna) and Kitty Cone (Jim); his grandchildren, Megan Chaison (Bobby), Terrence Underwood, Tayler Underwood, Joshua Underwood, Michelle Underwoodand and Jimma Robertson (Tooter); and his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Jaron, Decklan Underwood, Kayleigh, Brayden, Brennan Chaison, Macy and Preston Robertson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
