She was predeceased by: her parents, Xaver Gastl and Emma Zech; her husband Edward Wesley Houy, Jr. (Goethestrasse); and her sister Emma Hauber. She is survived by: her nephew Max Hauber of Germany; her great-niece Sarah Hauber of Germany; and her aunt Dorothy Eckert of Stonewall, Texas.
