It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wesley Jenkins of Livingston, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Liddie Mae Jenkins (Wilkerson) and Melvin Jenkins; and his brothers, Wayne Whitehurst and Roy Whitehurst. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jenkins; his children, Shawn Jenkins, Michelle Casas (Michael Lewis) and Kim Placker (Jason); his siblings, Raymond Whitehurst, Mary Jane Briggs, Barbara Jones and Eva Bradford; his granddaughter Jessica Mohammadian; his grandchild-in-law Erfan; and his grandchildren, Morgan Ardoin (Michael), Coy Placker (Jaime), Madeline Smith, Jordan Smith (Kuuipookalani), Christian Jenkins, Hunter Placker (Lexi), Allison Casas, Sara Jenkins and Megan Placker.
