He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ernest Moody, Sr. and Nancy Hazel Moody (Williams); and his brothers, Harold Ray Moody, William Moody and George Moody.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Trahan (Dwayne) of Huntsville, Sherry Disman (Johnny) of Huntsville and Christie Garcia (Ruben) of Livingston, Texas; and his sister Donna Kay Moody of Livingston, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
