He is survived by: his children, Destiny Shirley (Robert) of Livingston, Kelsie Hodge (Doyle, Jr.) of Onalaska, Texas and Melvin Elliott Nesmith III (Maci) of Livingston, Texas; his mother Faye Nesmith of Livingston, Texas; his wife Penni Nesmith of Livingston, Texas; his sons, Coty Nesmith, Hunter Nesmith, Wayne Nesmith, Tremorian Nesmith, Carter Wright and Elijah Davis; his siblings, Tommy Nesmith (Marsha) of Livingston, Texas and Jojuanna Nesmith of Livingston, Texas; and his uncle Homer Nesmith (Sharon) of Livingston, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
