He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Randolph Valentine and May Valentine (Ellis); and his son Jason Herchell Valentine. He is survived by: his wife Gerladine Valentine; his children, Michael Valentine (Brandy), Kevin Starkley (Mary Pat) and Karen Fletcher; his son-in-law Doyle; his sons, Brian Edward Starkey and James Allen Starkey; his grandchildren, Falyn, Molly, Tristin and Daegan; and his brother John Edward Valentine. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
