He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lester Armitage and Lottie Mae Armitage (Moffett); and his wife Julia Ann Armitage. He is survived by: his son David Ray Armitage; his daughter-in-law Gail of Shepherd, Texas; his daughter Dee Ann Thompson; his son-in-law Tim of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Zach Thompson (Ashton) of Livingston, Texas and Jordy Nelson (Ryan) of Livingston, Texas; his stepgrandchildren, Jon Luke Estes (Kristin) of Elkhart and Major Brett Estes; his great grandchildren, Tommie Jewel Thompson and Everly Nelson; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Cassidy Estes and Merina Estes; and his brother-in-law Billy Ray Nelson. He is also survived by dog, R; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
