He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilborn Tipton and Charlcie Ruth Tipton (Sowell); his wife Carol Tipton; and his brother Arlee Tipton. He is survived by: his children, Shelia Edmonson (Chris) of Angleton, Cheryl Householder (Ronnie) of La Porte, Texas and Charles Tipton, Jr. (Beverly) of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Misty, Heather, Joshua, Andrew, Charles, Landon, Matthew, Amber and Kaitlyn; and his sisters, Leecy Wiggins of Livingston, Texas and Wilma Clifton (Bobby) of Livingston, Texas. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
