She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ernest Thibodeaux and Fannie Young; her siblings, Ernest Charles, James and Nedra; and her granddaughter Naima Jasmine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lyette Shade (NY) and Alleyne Henderson (TX); her granddaughter Thais Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Myles Dudley, Braden Thompson and Kennedy Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Organization in her name.
