He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Velasquez; his children, Jose Luis Velasquez, Jr. (Maria Koutrouvelis), Alejandria Diego (Salvador) and Brandy Clark (Sterling); his siblings, Albert Velasquez (Hope), Daniel Velasquez (Alma), Sylvia DelaRosa, Letecia Arismendez (Luis), Cathy Lucio (Juan) and Yolanda Velasquez-Araiza (Sergio); and his grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander, Nadia Diego and Joshua Garza.
