He is survived by: his wife Joy H. Pearce; his children, Mitchell Pearce (Jacque) and Adrienne Lambert (Scott); his grandchildren, Rachel M. Pearce, Halle Parham and Pearce Lambert; his great grandchild Eleanor Parham; and his sister Carroll Johnson.
