It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Robert Deeny (Leander, Texas), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Oliver and Sabina Deeny (Payne); and his siblings, Marilyn Packard, Joyce Vye, Hugh John Deeny (Jack), Charles (Chuck) and David Deeny.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Deeny (Kelly); his sister Jeanette Sewald of Glendo; his son Mark Deeny; his daughter-in-law Virginia; his grandsons, Evan Deeny and Ryan Deeny; his daughter Lori Deeny; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends & neighbors.
