She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Bowers and Luther Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Don Dyer; her son-in-law Charles Michalik; her grandchildren, Hunter Michalik and Abigail Waggoner; and her grandson-in-law Jonathan Waggoner. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie Close, her nieces.

In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
