Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation ServicesHenrietta Louise Daoang was born on October 20th, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She passed away on June 17th, 2024 at her home. She was the second born of six siblings.
She was raised in Waimanalo until the early 1970s, and then her family moved to Texas. Henrietta graduated at Temple High School in 1974.
On April 12th, 1975 she married Edward Salazar Sr in Texas. During their 10-year marriage, she was blessed with three sons- Edward Jr., Cornelius and Dominic. She was a loving and nurturing mother to her boys.
In 1986, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her boys and through her example of hard work, taught each of them the value of making an honest living. Henrietta retired from Starbucks Corporation in 2023 after 23 years of service.
Henrietta unconditionally loved her family and friends. She loved cooking, taking pictures, adored dogs, cats and loved to laugh! Many will miss the several cards she sent throughout the years for Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July and any other occasion she could think of to let them know she was thinking of them and that she loved them.
Henrietta is survived by her three sons: Edward (Brooke) Salazar, Jr. Cornelius Salazar and his girlfriend Christina, and Dominic (Kimmedee) Salazar and her seven grandchildren: C.J., Dominic Jr., Jaiden, Kaniya, Eddie, Kai and Emily.
The viewing will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with a pause at 4:00 P.M. for a short celebration of life service at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Road in Leander, Texas. ALOHA ATTIRE WELCOMED.
