It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Lamar Smith of Leander, Texas, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Lamar Smith Sr.; and his brother David N. Smith. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Roberta Smith (Clements); his husband James Dean Jr.; his sisters, Gloria White and Dolores Duffey (Alvin Duffey); and his nieces and nephews, Tina Miles, Lori Redix, Janet Lange, David H. Smith, Charles E. Major II, Alex Jones-Duffey and Cesar Herrera.
