With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Lawrence Montgomery of Lampasas, Texas, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Chester Montgomery and Kalo Scofield Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Nettie Montgomery of Lampasas, Texas; his sons, Michael Montgomery (Judy) of Midlothian, David Montgomery (Leslye) of San Antonio, Tim Montgomery (Charlotte) of Cabot and Paul Montgomery of Houston, Texas; and his siblings, Anthony Montgomery (Virginia) of New York, NY, Chet Montgomery (Beverly) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Ginny Johnston of Lookout Mountain, TN. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to New Hope Primitive Baptist of Lampasas, TX.
