It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodolfo Cortes of Lamesa, Texas, born in Bloomington, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Cortez, Sr. and Celia Cortez; and his siblings, Olivia Rivera, Emma Diaz, Lydia Cortez, Lupe Cortez, Elida Guicoza, Dalia Gonzales, Arturo Cortez, Jessie Cortez, Roberto Cortez, Manuel Cortez, Alfredo Cortez, Ramiro Cortez and Viola Cortez.
He is survived by: his brother Lee Cortez, Sr.; his sister-in-law Elvia Cortez of Lamesa, TX.; his sister Carolina Cortez of Lamesa, TX.; and his brother-in-law Emiliano Gonzales, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The Cortes family requires face mask for the church and funeral home.
