He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Teresa Lovington, Sr.; his children, Reyes Lovington, Jr. and Rosalita Lovington Castaneda; his siblings, Ralph Lovington, Arturo Lovington, Eloisa Lovington and Rosie Lovington; and his grandson Juan "Sonny" Lazo III.
He is survived by: his wife Erminia Gonzales of Lamesa, TX.; his children, Rogelio "Ray" Lovington of Brownfield, TX., Raymond Lovington of George West, TX., Ruben Lovington of George West, TX., Norma Valenzuela of Brownfield, TX., Eloisa Lovington of Brownfield, TX., Melissa Lovington of Brownfield, TX. and Terri Cantu (David Cantu) of Dilly, TX.; his stepchildren, Cynthia Almanza, Diana Vasquez, Mario Gonzales (Beatrice Gonzales), Danny Gonzales (Connie Gonzales) and Luis Gonzales (Connie Gonzales); and his sisters, Maria Ellena Lovington Ramos of Plainview, TX. and Guadelupe Lovington Flores of Plainview, TX.. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
